Occidental Oil & Gas BV invites applications for the post of Senior Office & Housing  Services Associate at its Tripoli offices. Further details about the job And how to apply are to be found below:
Essential Job Duties:
* Lead and manage the office and housing services function.
* Manage office building administration issues which includes communication, coordination, correspondence, security approvals with building owners, managers and supporting vendors as necessary.
* Manage and develop the Office and Housing Services team.
* Lead the effort to provide general Office and Housing Services support to Oxy staff in all Libya office and housing locations and facilities as necessary.
* Coordinate & Supervise office moves and employee inpat and expat movements.
* Supervise remodeling projects (maintenance, furniture & equipment) for offices and housing facilities.
* Monitor and control on daily basis all vendor accounts and daily expenditures.
* Supervise and develop daily work processes for the mail courier services.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service for Oxy departments and employees.
* Evaluate services and cost efficiency of existing vendors.
* Inform Oxy Management about all issues related to Oxy office and housing space projects.
* Manage Oxy guest house and liaise with contractors on guest house related issues and quality control.
* Supervise the approval process for the daily work order requests generated for housing and offices.
* Coordinate office and housing requirements with the administration teams.
* Coordinate with HES department to ensure all health and safety issues are identified and addressed.
* Provide direct assistance to HR & Admin Manager as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Business Administration or other relevant field.
* 5 years or more of experience in Administration.
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
* Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with internal and external people.
* Strong demonstrated organizational skills.
* Solid PC skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
* Demonstrated sense of urgency and level of energy required to handle a fast paced work environment.
* Team player, willing to assist with other tasks when necessary for the benefit of the team.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-national workforce.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect company policy and corporate compliance.
* Demonstrated ability to form good working relationships with internal and external clients.
* Good supervisory experience, ability to mentor and train.
* Creative, open to new ideas; identifies opportunities for process improvement.
* Knowledge of local market and people, process and requirements.
